The 2021 Territorial Agricultural Plan
The 2021 Territorial Agricultural Plan, mandated by Act 8404, aims to enhance local agricultural productivity, thereby advancing food security and sovereignty for the residents of the Virgin Islands.
In accordance with the requirements of Act 8404, the plan must include policy and funding recommendations to strengthen and expand the local food system, boost the production of locally grown food, and establish a sustainable framework for food security across the territory.
